iOS Today Starts May 18th

iPad Today is evolving! Starting on May 18th, the show will be known as iOS Today.

Fans of the existing show need not worry: iOS Today will still cover the latest and greatest for the iPad. In addition, Leo Laporte and Megan Morrone will include what's happening with the iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. (Your existing subscription will also remain, as the feeds will stay the same).

The show will continue to feature app recommendations, along with tips and tricks to get the most out of your device. It will also introduce new segments, including information about developing apps for iOS.

The first episode of iOS Today records on Monday, May 18th, at 12:30PM Pacific. You can watch it live at live.twit.tv, and the show will be available for download and on demand streaming later that afternoon here. (The page will be updated with the new name and album art in the coming days).

Please note: These changes will not affect iFive for the iPhone. 

Sarah Lane and New Beginnings

Happy New Year! As you may have heard, Sarah Lane has accepted a full-time position at TechCrunch, as its Executive Producer of Video. We’re very excited for Sarah about this opportunity, even though it means we’ll be seeing less of her on TWiT.

However, she’s not leaving us entirely: Sarah will continue to co-host "iPad Today" for the foreseeable future. She will also continue to host "iFive for the iPhone" until the end of this month, and we’ll have an update soon about its new host.

As for "Tech News 2Night:" Stay tuned for this afternoon’s "InsideTWiT," where Leo and I will have an announcement about a familiar face that is joining our team to host the show, starting next week!

TWiT Live Schedule Changes - Starting 3/31

Effective March 31st, our live schedule for Mondays will change.

Triangulation will be moving its start time to 11AM Pacific, and iPad Today will begin recording at 12:30PM Pacific.

The new Monday schedule: 

10:00AM - Tech News Today

11:00AM - Triangulation

12:30PM - iPad Today

  2:30PM - This Week in Enterprise Tech

  4:00PM - Tech News 2Night
