Android App Arena will be moving to Wednesdays at 4:30PM Pacific, beginning on November 5th (with episode #20).

Android App Arena

There's never been a better time to be an Android user. However, due to the enormous growth of app development for the Android platform, discovering and finding just the right app can be a challenge.

Often, the best apps are the hardest to find, especially if a category has too many options. Note taking, read it later, browsers--there's simply too many to wade through to find the cream of the crop. That's why we thought it was time that TWiT had a show dedicated to some of the best Android apps, and we’re proud to present Android App Arena.

Each week, I’ll look at different app categories and showcase the very best that Android has to offer. I'll also occasionally bring on developers to talk about where they get their ideas from, how they compete in a crowded market, and why their apps have been successful. Every episode will give you insight into a handful of great apps that you can install on your Android device right away and enjoy for yourself.

Android App Arena Launches June 13th!

We're excited to announce that Android App Arena will debut on Friday, June 13th. The show will record at 1PM Pacific, and be available for download and streaming later that afternoon.

A shorter format companion to All About Android, Android App Arena will showcase the best apps and games that the Android platform has to offer. Hosted by Jason Howell, each 15 to 20 minute episode will be packed with new releases, category showdowns, and interviews with developers that know how to create quality apps for Android.
