A sad day for humor

Daily Giz Wiz host Dick DeBartolo, who has written for MAD Magazine for four decades, reported on his Twitter that MAD is becoming a quarterly publication after many years as a monthly magazine. A sad day for humor. By the way, Dick also guides the hand of Alfred E. Neuman on Twitter. Here's a recent tour of the MAD offices with CNN's fantastic Jeanne Moos, followed by my own tour of the same offices given by Dick last summer. My favorite part was when Dick said "Here's a photo of our founder Bill Gaines, who's no longer with us. Well, he's still in his office, but he's dead." That was so funny it made me cut myself shaving while laughing about it the next day.

Wil Harris adopts a TWiT Army Goat

Not sure why exactly, other than in the holiday spirit of good cheer, but frequent TWiT host Wil Harris has adopted a TWiT Army Goat named Bruce. Another goat saved!

First Post!

Welcome to the new Inside TWiT blog. Dane's been keeping this blog for the last few years on Vox, but we though it would be a good idea to move it to Wordpress on TWiT.tv and to encourage the entire staff to post. I'm thinking of this blog as more of a Tumblelog - a quick list of things we're working on, posts about the TWiTs, pictures from the Cottage, and behind-the-scenes notes. I hope you'll enjoy our new Inside TWiT blog and visit often. Comment, too! Please!
