I enjoyed this video, it was interesting to hear how ideas about the shows are worked out. Btw: I stopped downloading the podcasts in itunes and now watch them here on twit's page on my iPad or I watch live using the iPad app. Also: I would like the shows to be an hour, as discussed. I listen to or watch several differnet shows during the week, but find the longer shows a slog to get through. The camaraderie is fun, but an hour or so is best for my listening or watching schedule. Good luck with all your changes and improvements and adjustments, i'm brick #1066. :)

One reason I don't like to watch the podcasts is the censorship. Twit, you should be progressive and teach the rest of the americans that swearing from time to time is fine.

Since Leo said NSFW is one of their bigger shows, I think they should just hire Brian and Justin, along with Andrew Mayne and bring Weird Things over to TWiT.

A very interesting and thoughtful podcast effectively lifting the curtain a little on TWiT. Personally I got into podcast listening because of Leo and his KFI shows.... then via (Pre) TWiT (-before it was named), through MacBreak Weekly, Windows Weekly et al. However I know what I like and familiarity pays a great part in my listening behavior... I like Leo, JCD, Steve Gibson, Paul Thurrot, Alex Lyndsay, Denise Howell, Gina T and Jeff J etc, and have even given Bob Heil and supporting hosts a good airing with HAM Nation (a cool show... must be my age though!)

Some hosts are easier to get along with (Steve G for example) and I struggle to empathise with some (Tom for example) - by the way that's not to say that Tom isn't good at what he does, its just a different pace to the show (- a little like when Alex took time to grow on me too). I've given Dr Kiki and Sarah lane time, but just can't get into them - whereas Amber Mac is great. [People like people and you just dont know who will work for you and who wont].

The length of the shows is too long. I tend to listen either at the weekends or at night and two hours is heavy going. If I drift off at night then it's rare that I re-run to cover what I've missed. I would prefer to have 1 to 1 1/2 hr shows maximum... and if its cut off short then the old adage of leave them wanting more applies.

Advertising is pretty much wasted on me as I live in the UK and, understandably advertising is US centric. I tend to listen through them, but as I cant do anything about it...

I like the way that the station is developing and have been greatly interested to see how its been done - As above, I have liked to have seen behind the curtain and this sort of thing hasn't been done before - certainly not in the uk.

By the way - ref Merlin. He seemed to (understandably) change when he had his first child and one can understand that. Nowadays there seems to be an underlying friction between Merlins former irreverent self and his current 'grown-up' manifestation. If the guy doesn't want to be involved with TwiT then move on... he has.

The 'inside TWiT' is fascinating and I would like to see more. Is this to be a regular occurrence?

I hope that you take the above in the spirit that its meant. The TWiT network is great and hopefully I shall be around to see how you guys develop in the coming years. Best regards, UK Correspondent.

if the world was perfect and I had a time machine. the shows would be the right length but i find there are not enough hours in the week. Because of that and since like most people I watch shows till the end. i end up watching less shows but not because i don't want to end up getting too far behind.

One comment on NSFW its a great show because of the hosts but that's it. the Comedy has made me fall out of my chair but the production value is so low it makes it look out of place from the twit brand.

One thing I have found with This Week in Tech is it kinda fell out of favor because it really lost direction. I'm not sure it it was always this way and shows like This Week in Google showed me how its done right but i feel like when listening to TwiG vs TwiG the useful content per min of TwiT compared to TwiG is way less.

Twit seems to be about interesting people in tech sit around and BS(in a good way) for two hours. Not saying that is not fun but if you have the wrong people where I have not interest or never heard of them personally or actively dislike one of them. it can kill the show for me. Where as if the guest is on Twig is someone I never heard of there is a enough structure in there and the fact that the main hosts are fantastic that i always walk away from that show feeling like I learned something. Doesn't hurt that I could listen to Jeff read the phone book and be fascinated

I know its not the easiest thing to do to find these people for hosts but I thrive on when Interesting people have really something to say Like Jeff does you could have called it This Week in JSchool and it wouldn't have mattered but Jeff has a wealth of Knowledge and knows how to apply it to the current conversation that is all a show really needs.

One of the main reasons i feel shows with Leo do better than others that don't is that same concept but with a twist Leo knows how to pull content out of people even if they don't have the ability naturally like Jeff does.

One Last thing I don't know if its doable or not but being transparent about how the shows are doing would be great. If a show i love like lets say Framerate could be doing better and i knew that i would help in anyway i could. Even if i was always a subscriber to that advertiser service maybe write them letting them know i was a subscriber just because of their support for that show.

Well i hope this feedback was helpful to someone I know there are enough people on the internet giving their Two Cents.

I think bringing Brian and Justin and Andrew onto Twit would be great for Twit and great for the three hosts and they would get two great shows for the forseeable future.

Frogpants is independent but bringing frogpants into Twit would be amazing too.
